The Bookery aimed to raise awareness for their Cover-a-Thon initiative, encouraging people to spend 67 minutes covering library books in honor of Mandela’s legacy. The illustrated book covers were designed to resemble Nelson Mandela's iconic shirts, seamlessly merging the brand with his powerful image.

Starting point
For Mandela Day, I wove the brand's own elements into something more aligned with the day. Reworking them to echo the pattern of his iconic shirts, layered with a collage-style image. The result carries the dynamism and spirit the day deserves.
